Held on Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm, the free public festival transformed Preston Market into a lively destination filled with authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, traditional performances, cultural displays and family-friendly entertainment. The event demonstrated how cultural festivals continue to strengthen the connection between communities while celebrating diversity in Australia.

• The spectacular Devil Dance performance, one of Sri Lanka’s most recognised traditional rituals.
• Live Sri Lankan drumming performed by Rangana & Udumbara.
• A lively finale performance by the popular seven-piece band Dynamics, bringing the festival to an energetic close.
The event was professionally hosted by Sahan and Sithuwili, whose engaging presentation kept audiences entertained and connected throughout the celebration.
